Most of the people we serve are older adults in rural communities, so accessibility isn't a checkbox for us — it's the product. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we design beyond the guidelines for readability and simplicity.
Large, readable type and generous contrast · full keyboard operability · meaningful text alternatives on images · forms with clear labels, browser autofill support, and plain-language help (like our explanation of the red, white & blue Medicare card) · no CAPTCHAs or puzzles anywhere · animation that respects your device's "reduce motion" setting · pages that work on any phone, tablet, or computer without apps or downloads.
